CFO of Philosopher's Stone Ventures a Judge for Ventureplex's
Executive Business Plan Competition
Redondo Beach, CA, December 2, 2001 - Philosopher's Stone
Ventures' CFO Jenny Sakhrani was invited to become a judge
for the San Diego Ventureplex's business plan contest.
Ventureplex offers incubation services for seed stage companies
and capital advisory services for later round companies.
By handling many of the essentials, Ventureplex allows companies
to focus on strategic priorities, such as product development
and launch, resulting in accelerated time-to-market.
"Ventureplex has re-invented its strategy and offerings
to meet the current needs of emerging companies," said
Dante Fichera, managing director of Ventureplex. This contest
marks Ventureplex's re-launch demonstrating its new business
strategy of providing the capital resources and business
infrastructure necessary to assist new companies grow and
become successful.

San Diego Ventureplex, a specialized resource provider
for emerging enterprises will give away a six-month incubation
program or a six-month capital advisory service program
as prizes for it's "Re-Invent Yourself" celebration.
The winner will receive a furnished office at Ventureplex's
downtown location for six months, as well as other services,
including a T1 line, business development assistance, financial
assistance, and introductions to potential strategic investors,
angels or venture capitalists.
