Philosopher's Stone Ventures CFO on Venture Capital

July 10, 2001, Irvine, CA - Jenny M. Sakhrani, CFO of Philosopher's
Stone Ventures, appeared on the venture capital panel at
the July 2001 event for the Southern California Venture
Network.
During the July 2001 event, SCVN invited BCC, Steamboat
Software and FreightLocker to present their ideas to panelists
including Ms. Sakhrani, Eugene Mannheimer from GoldenEye
International and Ted Alexander from Mission Ventures.
The panel heard presentations from each company and commented
and critiqued their ideas in order to assist them get funding.
"As an incubator, we at Philosopher's Stone Ventures
get a lot of business plans," noted Ms. Sakhrani. "It's
so much more helpful to the entrepreneurs and to us to work
together at these early stages to help guide the formation
of these great ideas."
The Southern California Venture Network (SCVN) is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to the education and commitment of
the acceleration of entrepreneurial activities in Southern
