Don DiPietro
Don is an entrepreneur, corporate director and senior executive
with expertise in corporate strategic planning and marketing.
He has over 20 years experience in Internet business, multimedia,
interactive media, network and cable television and cinema.
He is currently the Executive Vice President, Content and
Strategy, for CEI/iCOLLEGE, an Internet venture serving
the higher educational community.
Before that, Mr. DiPietro was the VP Business Development
for MatchCraft, Inc., an Internet venture serving the advertising
market. He was also an Interactive Content Producer for
NBC Digital Productions. Don serves on the Board of Directors
of VidConnect.Com and Voton.Com. He was founder and President
of VidStrip, Inc, which provides long-term executive services
in business strategy, technology, marketing, and content
to Fortune 1000 companies including NBC.Com, GTE's Division
of Advanced Operations & Testing, and MGM's Business
Development Group.
Don was instrumental in the creative and strategic development
of The Fashion Channel and E-Merica, and in the development
and launch of GTE's Center Screen - the world's first operational
VOD/NVOD system. He co-founded TADPost, Inc., a digital
post-production company providing non-linear editorial services
to broadcast and motion-picture clients. He has created,
produced and/or directed over 1200 film and television projects
for clients including: ABC, The Audubon Society, CBS, Columbia
Pictures, Disney/Buena Vista Television, Fox Broadcasting,
Hong Kong Cable Communications, Lifetime Television, MCA/Universal,
MGM/United Artists, NBC, New Line Cinema/New Line Television,
Paramount, Sebastian International, Swatch, Turner Network
Television, and Warner Brothers.
"In The Company Of Bears", a documentary written
and edited for The National Audobon Society and broadcast
on Turner Network Television was nominated for a Cable Ace
Award in 1996. Don is a honors graduate of California Institute
of the Arts where he majored in Film/Television Production.
He was a founding member of Cable Positive -- the cable
industry's AIDS charity.
