Sakhrani have been invited to be guest experts for Pacific
Incubation Network’s monthly Incubator Managers’
Teleforum. The teleforum titled “It’s About Time!
Sustainable and Successful Incubator Model” will be
held on April 18, 2002. Subjects covered in the forum will
include the managers’ task of running a successful
and sustainable incubator; and incubator models that make
sense in this current economic market. They will discuss
why certain models failed and others have been successful,
as well as share case study stories.
S. Ramesh states, “I am very pleased to have the opportunity
to discuss, with other incubator managers and investors,
strategies that have helped incubators and entrepreneurs
succeed in both good times and difficult times.”
S. Ramesh actively invests in early stage technology companies,
is a member of the Tech Coast Angels (TCA), the Indus Entrepreneurs
(TiE), and is an adviser for GKM Ventures. Ramesh sits on
the board of five internet infrastructure and enterprise
software companies and frequently speaks on technology investment
and early stage funding.
Ms. Sakhrani is an active investor in early stage technology
companies and currently sits on the board for four technology
companies and the Orange Coast Venture Group (OCVG), Tech
Coast Venture Network (TCVN) and California Venture Forum
(CVF), and is a member of the Tech Coast Angels (TCA), the
Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), and the Oriental Chinese Entrepreneur
Association Network (OCEAN) to name a few. She is also an
adviser to the Southern California Community Venture Fund
and frequently judges business plans at venture conferences.
